Born in 1973, Manish is a young artist educated in Bhopal. He has had several solo as well as group exhibitions. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards including the Raza Foundation Award. He has also been featured in “Seven”, a book on 7 contemporary painters, published from Paris.

He works predominantly in oil on canvas by the use of strips of fabric to absorb the excess pigment from the canvas. The colours are thinned to aid the process of layering, adding & taking away, which eventually leads to the final result.

His works are highly in demand & his talent has even been noticed by S. H. Raza who provides him with support & direction from time to time. To own a Pushkale…….
