Born in 1941, Vasudev now lives & works in Bangalore. He received the Lalit Kala Akademi National Award in 1967. He has had several solo & group shows both in India & abroad. His works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi & the Safdarjung Museum, Hyderabad.

His works also form a part of several private collections in India as well as overseas. His Ganeshas' are very much appreciated. He has a unique talent which brings out the essence of Ganesha in his contemporary portraits.
